Hi
friends,
Hope
we are doing practice of previous episode tips and getting benefitted, with our
past blogs, we have discussed about back foot batting skills, Back foot defense
and drive.
After
doing practice of foot movement toward back side and towards off stump and
learnt that how to defense drive a short pitch ball or short of length ball.
Now
we will Practice a new shot i.e. Square cut, it is a most safe and scoring shot
if played accurately. I am describing below about this shot
“
when any ball is pitching at Sort of good length area and moving towards
outside the off stump, now the batsman get the chance to open his/her arms and
hit the ball by throwing the elbow over ball towards third man or at point area
is called square cut shot”
To
Practice this shot, there are few things to remember and to practice…
Body Balance on Back Foot,
Back Foot Movement towards Ball according to Room of the
ball, It may be closer or may be far..
Watching of ball till the end of the execution of shot
Punching the ball when it is at Point area or towards Third
Man area
Shot must be grounded
Throwing of Elbow
Adding a video for reference so that it can be understood the
actual sense of shot playing.
So nice I like your blog.

ReplyDeleteVery nicely explained, even I did not knew that it takes so much calculations and preciseness for a square cut. I am sure I would be able to teach my son all this after a year or so.
ReplyDeleteBTW am a blogger too but I write mostly on Food, Recipes, Cooking, Reviews about mobile phones and sometimes other articles like on religion or stories for kids or on computer education.
I would love if you all have time to visit my site also Cooking, Recipes and Reviews
Food is my passion, am surely a foodie too, but I love to experiment new recipes and put them in my blog, I dnt put a video because in a blog you have things mentioned properly and you can even have a low bandwidth to visit a simple blog page.
Though am thinking of coming out with my YouTube channel soon, but till then I will keep on writing and even afterwards....
